When it comes to salads, I'm total salad dressing and delicious add-ons. And who can resist homemade croutons? They're much tastier than store-bought and surprisingly fast to make, especially when it comes to a deep fryer.

  • Loaf- I like the taste of sourdough bread, but you can use any sturdy bread: French bread, challah, or baguette. Day-ancient bread is easier to cut, but don't use bread that is completely stale – you want the soft texture in it!
  • Olive oil- To make these air-fried croutons we need half the volume of fat compared to traditional stove or oven recipes. You can trade it in for avocado oil if you want
  • Spices We use onion powder, garlic powder and salt for these croutons. Using powdered ingredients instead of fresh ones will help distribute the flavors on the bread surface. You can definitely obtain creative here.

1. Prepare bread- Cut your bread into 1 to 1 inch cubes. It is easier to cut bread every day. When you have fresh bread, you can tear it off with your hands. For this recipe you will need 4 cups of bread cubes about half the size of a boule yeast broth.

2. Seasonal bread cubes Toss the bread cubes in olive oil until evenly covered, then add the garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Shake it well.

3. Cooking Preheat your air fryer to 200 ° C for at least 5 minutes. Place the cubes in a basket or tray and cook for 3-5 minutes *, shaking occasionally. Depending on how tight your bread crumbs are, you may need to bake for up to 7-8 minutes.
