He wanted a contemporary home and a rustic French farmhouse as the backdrop for this project. This house lends more to the latter, but the detailing and programming gracefully lean on the former. Instead of dividing this home into a formal living / dining / kitchen area, the family comes together in a more modern and relaxed way.
In a room where their lives are shared with each other and with their friends. Each has its own offices and dressing areas. The family room is traditionally upstairs and not next to the kitchen. This is where homework is done, they spend a lot of time with their parents instead of in their own separate rooms.
Our beloved ones: This rustic French farmhouse has an absolutely stunning exterior with a romantic courtyard design and no frills back yard. From the stone and plaster of paris facade with blue shutters to the grapevines lining the walls, every detail in this home is great. Inside, modern living spaces are combined with rustic accents to invite warmth. The owner's dream suite has a private terrace that provides a quiet place to relax.
