  • asparagus– Since asparagus can vary in size, you may need to adjust the cooking time accordingly. Extremely lean asparagus that cooked through in just 2 minutes, while thicker asparagus took up to 5 minutes
  • Oil- I like to use extra virgin olive oil or avocado oil in the air fryer because they have a smoke point high enough not to burn

Step by step instructions

1. Snap or cut the woody ends from the asparagus stalks. This is usually the bottom 2 inches.

2. Put the asparagus in olive oil. Optional but helpful – massage it in with your hands.

3. Heat the air fryer to 400 ° F. Let the asparagus cook for 2-5 minutes, shaking and turning halfway.

4. Season with additional salt, squeeze lemon juice over it and sprinkle with parmesan.
