If you've never made pasta in a pot, it's a season to try! As pasta juice melts with spices and vegetables, it absorbs much more flavor than it is cooked separately and then thrown together. Not only that, but also less food contaminate!
This recipe is one of my favorite recipes for pot noodles because I absolutely love the taste combination of pepper, onion and sausage!

What materials do you need?
These stew sausage pasta recipes conclude:
- sausage – Make sure you cook beforehand. I did this with a variety of sausages like Polish sausage and even vegetable sausage. Feel free to mix and use what you have.
- chopped tomatoes – including liquid for flavor and additional vegetables
- Spice up– Salt, pepper and paprika scales help to strengthen other flavors of these pasta. If you serve children or don't like spicy food, you can skip the pepper shed.
- pepper – sweet yellow, red and orange pepper, kind color and additional strengthening of the vegetables
- Red onion – for taste size and color. Feel free to replace your favorite onion.
- pasta – I recommend using small pasta shapes that can hold liquids such as the Cavatappi pasta (spiral pasta) used in this article. See below for more information.
- cheese – helps thicken the sauce and make the noodles kind and creamy and also adds flavor
- Broth or water– We only add 2 glasses of broth or water to this pasta. It won't look enough, but trust me!
Cook and enjoy later
This one cup of pasta is very suitable for the preparation of dishes. You can do this in two ways:
Combine forward / freezer packs
To create “freezer packs,” combine all ingredients except pasta and cheese in a gallon-size freezer bag, a reusable silicone bag, or a food preparation container. This means that we don't have to chop or prepare when it's time to cook. If possible, squeeze the air and freeze it for up to 3 months.
To cook it completely before pouring it into a saucepan. Add the pasta and cook as indicated on the recipe card below.
Advanced cooking / leftovers
To easily prepare leftovers for "reheated dishes", cook as indicated on the recipe card below. Allow to cool slightly and put in containers for food preparation. Allow to cool completely before storing in the refrigerator (up to 4 days) or freezer (up to 3 months).
Allow to thaw completely to heat (if frozen), then heat in the microwave until the heat has evaporated.

- Stir the food frequently while cooking, but keep the lid between the mixes
- This recipe requires fully cooked sausage; If you use uncooked sausage, you need to cook it first. I recommend draining the oil very well
- Cheese is very important to thicken the sauce, so I do not recommend skipping this ingredient
- For a vegetarian version of this recipe, replace black bean sausages
- I didn't try to make this particular recipe in instant pot, but I managed to make another pot of pasta without adjusting the liquids. Try half the cooking time in the box + 2 minutes
- Feel free to commute Cavatappi for different small shapes. I have successfully used penne, rotini, flies and mussels. Check out these, as different shapes can have slightly different cooking times
- I haven't tested any gluten-free chickpea or lentil noodles. Use at your own risk.

A pot of hot dog pasta
Put the ingredients for these pot sausage noodles in the pot, stir several times and the dinner is alert … it's that simple! Perfect for preparing meals and busy nights. The whole family will love this meal.
- 13.5 self fully cooked sausage (375 g; sliced; see notes *)
- 2 .. pepper (cut)
- 1.2 Red onion (cut)
- fifteen self chopped tomatoes (including juices)
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt-
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon Red pepper
- 2 .. glasses chicken broth (or water)
- 2 .. glasses Cavatappi pasta (or a small figure; see notes **)
- 1 1/2 glasses Mozzarella cheese (Broken)
In a 4-liter or larger saucepan, add the sausage, pepper, onion, chopped tomato, salt, pepper, pepper flakes, chicken broth and pasta.
Stir until everything is well mixed, cover the saucepan and cook. Reduce the heat until it's warm.
Stir once every 2 minutes (put the lid back on each time you mix), cook for 15 minutes or until the noodles are cooked.
Add the cheese and mix until melted.
Serve with fresh parsley if desired.
Place sausage, pepper, onions, chopped tomatoes, salt, pepper, pepper flakes and chicken broth in a gallon-size freezer bag to advance and freeze. DO NOT add the pasta.
Freeze for up to 3 months.
to bake– Thaw completely and put in a saucepan. Add the noodles and mix. Cook as mentioned above.
