I am a fan of everything with cinnamon. Whether it gives every recipe the top taste or homemade cinnamon buns for breakfast or Churro cupcakes for dessert. When you have this mixture on hand, you can easily add flavor to your favorite treats!
I ate cinnamon sugar on a piece of warm bread and butter. If you have never tried it, the combination is a dream and tastes deliciously sweet and tasty. But there are other options too! I always have a jar in my pantry so I can easily remove it when I need it. It is very convenient to measure and mix cinnamon and sugar in advance. Preparation takes less than 5 minutes and stays in your basement for at least one year. You need that in your life!
Cinnamon sugar rate
I prefer the 1: 4 ratio. If you want to make a smaller amount, the prices are below:
1 cup of sugar 1/4 cup of cinnamon
1/2 cup of sugar 2 tablespoons of cinnamon
1/4 cup of sugar 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
2 tablespoonssugar 1/2 tablespoon of cinnamon
1 tablespoon of sugar 3/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
How to make cinnamon candies
Measure: Choose your preferred rate above and measure each component. Then put in a medium bowl.
Mix: Use a spoon until the mixture is combined. There should be no brown or white lines.
Store: Then pour it into a jar and close it with a lid.
Storage + shelf life
This mixture can easily be kept in a sealed container or in an airtight container for up to 1 year. I always like to have a glass in my spice cupboard!
