I look forward to sharing my favorite homemade pizza dough recipe today! This recipe I heart Naptime cookbook and it's very simple to do! It comes together in just 60 minutes and has a kind clear exterior and great taste. Seriously the top!
We love to make homemade pizza together. It has become one of our favorite traditions. My kids will be happy to help you roll out the dough and add your favorite toppings. This dough was a family favorite for the pizza night along with my simple homemade one Pizza sauce. Both together, their fabulous couple and their taste are so fresh! Sometimes we obtain fresh Grissini also to serve with it. 🙂
How to make homemade pizza dough
Prove yeast. Start by activating the yeast. In a small bowl, add 1 cup of warm water (110 ° F), 1 tablespoon of dry yeast, and 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar. Mix together, then cover with plastic wrap. Wait until it starts to foam, similar to the photo below left. This usually takes about 5-10 minutes.
Mix the dough. After the yeast mixture has foamed, pour it into a large bowl with 2 tablespoons of oil and salt. Add 2 cups of flour and knead by hand or dough hook until everything is well mixed. Then add more flour in 1/4 cup increments and knead until the dough is smooth. Continue kneading the dough for about 5 minutes.
we abandon. Turn it into a ball and apply some oil around the dough. Place in a bowl and cover with wrapping foil. Let stand up for 20 to 60 minutes. There's no need to go that high, you just want it to explode a small.
Roll the dough. After your batter is puffed up, it's time to roll. I like rolling the lead about 1/4 "thick. You can optionally make it a small thinner or thicker, but you just need to cognize that the cooking time is changing.
Spread over sauce. You can add the sauce after your batter is opened. We usually use a classic tomato-based pizza sauce, but we're happy to use it White pizza sauce or Pesto. All of them are delicious!
Add up. Then it's time to add your favorite sauces! My kids love simple cheese or pepper. However, I love to mine mine with burrata cheese, freshly sliced tomatoes, jalapeno and arugula. Yum!
What is the top flour? I use multipurpose flour to make this simple crust recipe. No fancy flour like bread flour or 00 flour! Very kind french fries and delicious taste!
How high should the dough go? I usually stay between 20 minutes and an hour. You want it to explode a bit, but it doesn't have to go that high. Another reason why this recipe is so simple!
What is the top way to roll the dough? I like rolling out my dough on a floured surface with a rolling pin, but you can also cast it. After rolling or throwing, it should be about 12 inches wide and 1/4 inches thick.
Can you cook before adding toppings? You don't have to pre-bake the dough before adding toppings! Simply roll, add the sauce and sauces of your choice and cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
