How to Make a Lavender Gin Tonic
Gin and Tonics are incredibly simple to prepare and use gin, tonic water and lime. These are standard gin and tonic substances. You can add fruits and berries and more to give Gin Tonics a twist.
To make a lavender gin and tonic, we filled the gin with dried lavender. We also smelled a kind purple color by infecting lemon juice with butterfly pear syrup!
How do you cook the spirits?
Drinking alcohol is a great way to achieve the natural flavor you expect from alcohol. Herbs, berries, fruits and even sweets are ideal for the provide of spirits! For this we used 1 tablespoon of lavender 1 1/12 cup of gin.
The longer the lavender is in the gin, the stronger the taste and smell. You can do this anywhere between 5 and 24 hours. After 5 hours, you can smell and taste the lavender. When finished, pass the sieve, drop the gin into a glass and remove the dried lavender.
Why does the butterfly teas commute the color?
Since it was not strong enough to produce the purple color I wanted for our lavender cocktail, we drank lemon juice with Butterly Pea Tea! Butterfly scented tea comes from blue butterfly pea flowers.

How to Make a Gin Tonic Punch
